Horten Medical was founded in Australia in 2005 by Mark Taffa it is a company providing quality medical devices to the Health Care Industry. Our medical devices are supplied throughout Public Hospitals, Private Hospitals and Day Surgeries around Australia, including all states and territories, NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, NT & ACT.
Horten Medical is a member of two industry associations AusBiotech and MTAA (Medical Technology Association for Australia).
Horten Medical places focus to Endoscopy, and Haematology, providing quality medical device solutions. We work closely with Surgeons, Nurse Unit Managers & Theatre staff to provide medical devices and services which ensure the success and ease of surgical procedures.
Horten Medical understands the urgency required by Surgeons and Hospital staff, and we constantly strive to meet these requirements.
Horten Medical has proudly attained ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification for its operations.

Throughout his career, Mark has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care and has worked tirelessly to ensure that the medical devices supplied by Horten Medical are of the highest quality and safety standards. Under his leadership, Horten Medical has become a leading player in the medical device industry, offering cutting-edge products that improve patient outcomes and enhance the work of healthcare professionals.
In addition to his work with Horten Medical, Mark is actively involved in the broader medical community. He is a past board member of MTAA and has been recognised for his contributions to the field of medical technology. He is also a dedicated mentor to young professionals entering the medical industry, sharing his knowledge and experience to help others succeed.
